Within the framework of the working trip of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Erik Beishembiev to the province of Sindh, a meeting was held with the Chief Minister of the province of Syed Murad Ali Shah. Ambassador Erik Beishembiev highly appreciated the efforts of the leadership of Sindh province, which is a major center of Pakistan's economic activity, in expanding foreign trade and economic ties.
It should be noted that from 9 to 12 November in Karachi Sindh, the main trade fair "EXPO-2017" is held in the country, aimed at demonstrating to the world community a wide range of goods and services exported by the Islamic Republic. Representatives of diplomatic missions and business delegations of 85 countries took part in the exhibition.
With this in mind, with the aim of boosting trade and economic ties between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with the assistance of the Kyrgyz Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the issue of participation of the Kyrgyz delegation, including representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation and the Chamber of Commerce was successfully developed.
Within the framework of the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the main areas of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in which Sindh province can play a key role. As a result, an agreement was reached to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of the planned joint plans.
